Pimp my Singlespeed! April 18, 2009

Scotty decided that my singlespeed needed some loving (and some parts borrowed from my other bikes..) so here’s some pretty pictures:

Before:

The lowdown: An old Giant ATX890 frame which had been powdercoated a few years back (but with a pretty crappy powdercoat job), and a mixture of old parts we had lying around..

After:

The lowdown: A repainted frame with hand-drawn bunny stickers, the Fox F100RLCs borrowed from my Superlight, XT cranks and Fizik seat borrowed from my Nomad, a proper singlespeed chain tensioner borrowed from Barrett at R&R Sport.

Check out Scotty’s blog at www.dubiousdesigns.co.nz for more on all the steps in between (including paintstripping video!) – Cheers Scotty!
